Stand with your community. Make a difference. Join Shelton Volunteer Fire Company No. 4 today.
In 1933 came into being, fire protection of the land
And formed amongst themselves, firemen as a band.
They voted and agreed as Company (4),
Their duty bound, took them up the ranks and into the corp.
At Seneca and Algonquin they erected a site,
A building they’d use both day and night.
They answered the call of many homeowners in need
To quench out a fire with the greatest of speed.
Weather wind or rain, snow or ice, sunshine or clouds,
The firemen of the fourth are sure to be amongst the crowds.
Weary they may be from a fire they’d come,
But would go right back out if another would come.
Old Company (4) has stood fast for years
And will continue in service as did its forbearers,
As the minute men of long ago did serve,
We too have our Old Company (4) in reserve.
Your donations help maintain equipment, train volunteers, and support the community we serve.
